If the plugin does not work, the most common reason could be some kind of typo.
Please double-check if you type the plugin name and all of its arguments correctly.
Check if you have both the main tag (the one with arguments) and the closing tag ({/ontime}) in place.
Try copying some of the tags from the example (click here to visit) and pasting them into your content unchanged. Check if it is working (plugin tags and all the text for the outdated blocks) should be hidden.
There was an error in the example. When using the start-date-only range, you should not type the hyphen after the start date. Now that I've fixed an example, please, try it one more time: factory.docwriter.ru/faq/9-ontime/39-getting-started.html.

Hi GRHughes,
Цитата:
I copied and pasted straight from the new example and I got the same thing Pford and Mcorley did. The plugin tags are shown in the content.
If you see tags in content, please double-check if the plugin is enabled in your site's Plugin Manager (Extensions - Plugins menu of your admin panel).
If this doesn't help please contact me on infodocwriter.ru.
My timezone is set correctly but ontime plugin is working with - 2hours with me. Not a big problem I was just wonder if I was able to correct it into the plugin
I have a client that has different hours of operation in summer than for the rest of the year. What starttime-endtime syntax would I use to some text every year between June 1 and Aug. 31, and different text from Sept. 1 to May 31?
...and will this extension also work with text in a Module?

Hi ! For me the Plugin works perfectly, but if it is enabled I find the following Errormessage in the media folder: "Too few arguments to function plgContentOnTime::onContentBeforeDisplay(), 3 passed in /var/www/csqt/www/libraries/joomla/event/event.php on line 70 and exactly 4 expected" and the media folder is of no use. All legacy Joomla! extensions by Factory.DocWrit er.Ru are available at store.docwriter.ru/category/3-legacy.html
On Time plugin uses the timezone setting from Joomla! global configuration. You should change timezone there if needed.
Anyway, you can set the exact time on which each of the On Time conditions is triggered, including the timezone specification if you want to:
{ontime: '2017-01-17 0:00 GMT+2'}
...and will this extension also work with text in a Module?
Цитата: The On Time plugin requires an exact date/time specification, it cannot be set up for periodical events, sorry.
Цитата: As for the Custom HTML module, yes, it will. In module settings, click the Options tab and enable the Prepare Content option.

and the media folder is of no use.

Thanks
